Backstory:
Yakuza is a family that has a strong history in our sister city. The founder of Yakuza decided to bring some members to this new city to branch out and gain some foothold. Through the years, Yakuza has seen many faces come and go, and will continue to offer to be a home for anybody who needs it. Although in different cities, both branches of Yakuza are closely connected, with the respective leaders communicating with each other very often.

Yakuza does not judge people for their backgrounds, and accept anyone who is willing to follow the family rules and code of conduct. We welcome people without a family to call us home, and will fight back against anyone who threatens it.

The name Yakuza is taken from the Japanese word for “gang”, as the leaders believe in loyalty to the family and respect for higher ranks that Japanese gangs live by. Together with the name, Yakuza adopts the code of conduct that Japanese mafia follow, with a few alterations, which are mainly:

1. Treat everyone in the family, and family members of family with respect
2. No in-fighting
3. Act respectfully in public, so as not to tarnish Yakuza’s reputation
4. Do not involve the new citizens

Yakuza has big goals, which are:

1. Housing and producing strong leaders in legal organisations
2. Housing and producing strong leaders in illegal organisations
3. Getting businesses/wealth (and engaging in all activities that would give us wealth)
4. Recruiting all that need a place to call home/their family
5. Becoming one of the best families
