Growing up in a small town Roney always knew he wanted to leave. Everyone from his small town was so small minded.
No one was hugely successful and no one was what he would consider rich.
The richest man in his town was the farmer. Roney was one of the only kids interested in computers and programming.
All of the others were out hunting or working with their dads. The only thing Roney did with his dad that he actually enjoyed was off-roading.
He would love it when his dad let him drive home from school through the fields over the bog.
As the town became a bit more literate and realized the benefit of computers, Roney soon had all of the town dependent on him for the smallest of technical issues.
He soon learnt though that with this position he gained trust.
Roney never had any problems putting financial gain over trust. With such a small town how would he generate the wealth he wanted though?
A few months passed and Roney was running endless scams in his town. Skimming money from transactions on card readers he had installed.
Offering a free public WI-FI which he copied all usernames and passwords to skim from peoples bank accounts too.
Another few semi quiet months went past and Roney was stacking up enough to be able to leave.
People started to notice and question these little transactions. Without letting it get too far Roney packed up and left.
The perfect crime, Roney knew he was on to a winner.
He moved around for the next few years hitting as many small towns as he could. In his travels and exploits Roney found an old WWII abandoned Russian bunker that he converted to be the center of operations.
By the end of the second year Roney was the millionaire he always dreamt of being. As everyone knows, what you want is never enough.
Roney had decided that he needed to stop hitting the small towns, start thinking big.
What if he became employed by a state organization somewhere, with his technical skills all he would need would be access to the computers.
But he couldn't just apply for the IT role, its too obvious. First place they would look should something happen.
His first step when moving to the city was to find a group, one to support his dreams and one he could share his visions with!
He needs to be called upon in times of need to guard and protect the machines he needs access to. To be left alone with a window of opportunity.
LSPD, NG, SAHP and Gov all would have access. The guards would be least suspected, with most access and ability.
That settled it for Roney he was going to apply, His family setup all the interviews with connections they already had and supported Roney so much.
Even with all their help the plan was still to start at the bottom and work his way up. Be in that position of trust again, but higher.
Then abuse it better!
