Liberty City, 1993: Most people have fond memories of childhood, they think back and imagine playing with Legos or maybe the smell of something cooking in the kitchen. Donny at age twelve could tell by the sound of a kneecap shattering if the person would be able to walk again. Usually, the answer was no.
Frank Battz not his given name but a moniker that he gained due to his use of a Baseball Bat when collecting money owed to the McReary Crime Family. Frank was a good foot soldier for the family but a shit father to his actual family.
There was only two things Frank did right in his whole existence for Donny and their names are Feather and Jax, Donny’s siblings. Feather (His half-sister) was raised by her mother on a Hippy Commune and Jax was a kid taken in by Frank as a favour to J.T Taylor, Frank’s best friend and partner in crime. (It would come out later that Frank Killed J.T)
Donny grew up tough and mean, Jax and Feather being younger always made him more protective over them, the various gangs in Liberty City would’ve wanted Donny back in his prime but the older he grew the more their attentions turned to young Jax. Not wanting their fates to become that of their father Donny took the advice of his sister and moved out to Los Santos.
Starting fresh came with a name change, Donny Love got himself a job as a Correctional Officer. He saw his father in the face of every piece of shit that walked through the doors. He also however saw himself in the faces of those that had gotten mixed up in life and he knew that if he could help them he would.
UPDATE
The life Donny left behind would come clawing it's way back to him, in the form of Seamus McReary. One last job, see the LCPD had hidden away a very valuable witness in Los Santos and Donny was the exact person the family needed to find and kill said witness. In return Donny would keep his little life, unable to face his brother and sister Donny quit the D.O.C, he left his resignation on Feather's desk. He drove out to the meeting point, holding the gun in his hand he placed it to the back of the witnesses head and....
BANG
The shot rang out, Donny lay on the ground bleeding. Another shot, Seamus fell lifeless beside him and then everything went black. When Donny woke up he was in hospital, he was told that someone dropped him off outside, there was no sign of any body or the witness. A week later he would see the witness made it to testify. Whatever happened Donny is on edge, Feather didn't accept his resignation and almost turned him in when he told her what happened. The only thing that saved him in her eyes was that he never pulled the trigger. Donny knew however that he was close to pulling it, seems there is still a little bit of his father in him.
Trying to hide his appearance a little more Donny stopped shaving his head, someone was out there and they either wanted to help him or harm him. Either way Donny would make damn sure he wasn't as easy to spot.
Outcomes -
Donny is fairly skilled in hand to hand combat and most weapons due to it being one of the few things his Father taught him.
A small camera is always carried by Donny, ready to record anything that might help him study criminal behaviors.
Facing down outnumbered odds Donny is no problem when in a 1v3 situation for Donny, usually it means he ends up with a busted lip but if his family or someone cares about is in trouble he will unleash hell.
Since coming to Los Santos he has taken an online course in Criminal Psychology, he had a keen interest in what makes criminals tick.
Donny is a highly skilled driver, in his teenage years he would be a driver for many illegal activities, keeping the info of such things on a need to know basis, many of the McReary family would use Donny's skills. He can get away from damn near anyone if he is in a car. Not that he would need such skills now he is a law abiding member of this fine city.
