Hello!
today my car trunk got confiscated., and I am confused about the reason. as far as I know my vehicle was not parked at any crime scene or involved in anything illegal that would allow LEOs to confiscate the trunk.
The main issue is not only the loss of items but also that I have no way of finding out who confiscated it, why it was done and whether proper RP procedures were followed or not.
I found out around 23:46 when I recalled my car to take out my stuff, but the trunk was completely empty. I had a lot of guns and ammo inside, but that is not the main point. My concern is that my trunk was confiscated while I was not even there, and I do not know if it was a rule violation or if the confiscation was actually valid.
Would it be possible for you guys to check the logs to see who confiscated the trunk and, if needed request the officer’s bodycam footage?
