I received a call to Senora Freeway with the reason "hit by car " or something of that nature. I responded to the scene in the helicopter since it was so far away and when I got there I was greeted by a guy in the street who said his friend was behind the rock. I walked behind the rock expecting to find someone injured and a guy put a gun in my face.
My audio was cut out for a few seconds but I had laughed and said, "Really? You can't do this. I'm EMS. You can't take me hostage." He said he wasn't taking me hostage but wanted to use my helicopter. He said this while keeping a gun in my face. I said that I "wasn't a taxi service and I was leaving." He shot me in the back while I ran away and I immediately called gods. Darren Miller showed up and told me to make a complaint.
I'm reporting because they misused the 911 hotline and wasted my time, they held me up with guns, and then they shot me when I tried to get back to work. If that's not harassment, I don't know what is. They are not allowed to shoot EMS personnel while we're on duty.
In the video, I land at 12 seconds, have the gun put in my face at 23 seconds, and I am shot in the back at 1:23.
