Shux Clapz came from a wealthy family. Meaning that he had what every kid would want growing up. He didn’t grow up in a broken home: he had loving parents who saw in him a keen intelligence that they nurtured, puzzels, crime books and tv shows, and even self-defense and shooting classes at a young age. Yet there was a wild turn somewhere there, for young Shux began to hang out with the wrong crowd who also saw in him a kind of quiet rebel that they helped push into the flames of sheer chaos, as Shux participated in a few break-ins and even armed robberies. Even Shux’s parent’s couldn’t recognize what he had become. They eventually kicked him out of the house, for no lesson was possible to teach their boy, and Shux was glad for that. He embraced an even wilder life. He moved to a city known for Mafia’s and quickly learned how to make cocaine, and how to distribute it, and even how to navigate the rough and sometimes sheer lethal competition. He was a smart player, cunning like few. He earned all the accolades needed to capture the attention of other higher-ups in criminal entrepreneurship. But soon after, the market dried up, so Shux left his city, now forgotten in time, and went to the only place where he could truly evolve, transcend, and make the time spent in the city better, more complex, more fulfilling: He went to the GRAND city of Los Santos.
Once in Los Santos, Shux quickly learned the ins and outs of this decadent paradise of light and dark. He had left everything behind, deciding to carry on by name and presence alone. Then he met the West Mafia, or rather, they tracked him down. The West family, despite their violent ways and shady deals, knew the meaning of family, and how honor among thieves should be as sacred as a church on Sundays. The West mafia became Shux’s true family, more blood than blood. Shux took on the name West, and became Shux West. And so it happens that Shux went further in his knowledge of success in a grand new city, and it was here that his book smarts and street smarts took him a step beyond others: Shux had a business mind and he could talk his way in, out, and around most conflicts that would escalate to full display of violence, but Shux had a knack for communication, as well as sheer veiled threats that would make one thug or would-be gunslinger stop in his tracks and quickly discard such actions. The West family was impressed and truly was .. ON TOP.
Shux’s brothers, Mark West, Mike West, and Slak West, showed him there is more to life than being a badass criminal, or any kind of wise guy or mastermind. They had to go beyond. And this fascinated Shux, for every achievement meant a new baptism, a new trial, a new beginning. His brothers told him of the promotion for him: they would help him to start a path of legal law enforcement, not just as a way to earn money and keep the coasts clear, but also as a form of a deterrent from within the forces of law, who were up for grabs now more than ever, especially in Los Santos. Shux agreed and sealed his fate through a pact of honor and servitude. But little did he know that this path would also help change him, forge his morals in a different way: after all, he would cross the veil and walk the fine line between law, crime, and whatever good may come from both.
And so it was that Shux overcame the biggest challenge of his life, and his competitive nature made the best of it: Shux met the tremendously difficult and ruthless process of becoming an FIB agent with hardcore success. He became a prime candidate for hiring and took less than most applicants. And when he wanted to, he crushed the competition. It only took a few words or just a look. Some people just would never be cut out for it. He saved them the bother, and whatever ensuing pain.
All in all, Shux spent over a thousand hours training in a variety of courses and then, the four major concentrations: academics, case exercises, firearms training, and operational skills. He was mentally and physically fit, ready to take on the most important mission of his life. Shux was intrigued about the morals of it all, and how to navigate cases of extreme violence, corruption, and even the politics behind the curtains of power. He felt his dark reflection speaking to him, telling him that his was a journey of either self-destruction or self-discovery. Shux said: I choose both. And he meant it. Once a member of the FIB, Mike West took him under his wing and taught him what it takes to become the best. It was then that Shux stepped onto the Undercover division, for it was here where Shux would tap into all of those criminal skills and mindsets he had learned throughout all his life, from the streets to the drug labs to the heart of Los Santos itself: Shux would outthink criminals, and now, in this newfound vision of good and evil and the grays in-between, he would bring them to justice.
And so, time passed and Shux West became the Head of Department for Undercover for the FIB. It was now time for the most calculated of decisions and deals with the most dangerous and cunning of friends and foes all around the city. But Shux knew that, in the end, he will do his best to keep the city safe in the long run.
Law will be served, crime will be kept at bay, or else blood will flow and bullets would fly. Shux West, FIB agent, former criminal now legend maker, still thrill seeker, no bullshitter, jack-of-all-trades… He is the one who will make sure that the balances are correct, by any means necessary.
