1. Leader of SAHP (San Andres Highway Patrol)
2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organization? (List three reasons with explanation)
Hello and thank you for taking time out of your day to read my application for SAHP Sheriff. This is my fourth time applying for the Sheriff position and I have had a blast applying for this position.
I want to be sheriff of SAHP because I want to make a change throughout this organization and possibly to other legal organizations. I have had almost a year of law enforcement and high command experience necessary to lead an organization. There are also issues in legal organizations need to be fixed and I want to be the leader that can provide a solution to the problem for SAHP and for other legal organizations around. Finally, I want to make an everlasting change in the organization as a whole by changing the focus on the organization.
#1 Experience- I joined the Organization about 8 months ago under Sheriff Jason Memes term. During my time in the org, I rose through the ranks and achieved the rank of Chief. My role was Chief of Special Agents which was SAHP's Detectives Division. Throughout Rebekah, Dave, and partially Ryan's Terms, I started to improve the division so it could be at its full potential either under my supervision or under the supervision of future chiefs. I left the organization for about a month to gain more knowledge on how I can improve the Special Agents Division. This has led me to gain more leadership and high command experience in LSPD (Captain of Detectives) and FIB (DHOD of UC), I eventually returned to SAHP in the final days of Ryan's Term and stayed with organization throughout all of Fredrick's Term. In Fredrick's Term, I did achieve High Command yet again through the role of Area Commander. In all of my experiences I gained more knowledge and leadership experience to be able to lead an organization to success. Some of the leadership skills I have been able to focus on are open-mindedness, taking responsibility, and selflessness which are some of the main traits of being a leader.
#2 Improve Organizational Relations- One of the issues that I have noticed being HC of LSPD, FIB, and SAHP is trash talking. This is a very big issue that expands throughout all of the orgs that I have been a part of. This issue stems from lack of integrity and respect. Integrity is doing good even when no one is looking or in this case having respect for someone even when they are not around. All legal orgs need to work together whether some of us enjoy it or not. If we start trash talking other orgs when they are not around, important events might never get done with them because we wouldn't want to work with them. But if organization employees start to respect other organizations no matter if they can hear or not, it'll get more things on the to do list done with cooperation from other organizations.
#3 Quality Over Quantity- Over the last sheriff terms over the new year, I have noticed that the sheriffs have primarily been focusing on org employee numbers. While this is not a bad thing. I think it's time to start shifting focus from gaining org employee numbers to focusing on the quality of the org employees themselves. As sheriff, I want to start focusing on Quality over Quantity. Meaning we will be focusing on having the best of the best employees of any legal organization in the State of San Andres. This would mean improving the training program so we can ensure all employees are getting the best training possible. It also means we need to start batch recruiting meaning that we take in a certain number of recruits at a time so that we can focus on training new recruits without getting overwhelmed by the large number of new recruits coming in at one time.
3. Your advices for improving RolePlay level in organization.
#1- As SAHP is the legal org with the most danger around it because we patrol outside of the city limits. It should be crucial that an anti-hostage training program should implemented so we can avoid officers getting taken hostage so often. This would allow officers to patrol without having to panic and avoid situations that can possibly cost them their life. What better way to introduce this kind of program than the person who's been taken hostage more times than other legal org employees.
#2- One of the best ways you can not only improve personal RP but, the RP of others in an organization is by giving everyone a reevaluation. This will happen in the first week of the term and will be led by all of HC. This will give everyone a chance at possibly getting promoted and also it shows areas where people might need room for improvement. Let's be honest, everyone has something they need to improve whether it's me or anyone else joining or joined the SAHP organization.
#3- The main thing I've noticed the lack of in the server as a whole is the use of / commands. The best way to increase RP through all organizations and the server is by increasing the use of / commands. The only way to increase that use is by giving out the proper training and proper instructions of when and where is the best time to use those / commands. For example, when placing a detainee in the vehicle, you could give a verbal command of the action as well as do /me places detainee inside of vehicle while watching their head. This would also be able to help out those players that are text rp only.
Thank you for reading my application for SAHP Sheriff and I hope to be considered for the position.
Sincerely, Johnny Green
