I am hoping this is being posted in the correct place. if not, my apologies, just let me know where to submit it
Its been about a month and a half since my ban and the time away from Grand RP has been interesting. Firstly, my family (hood rich) is split up between what seems like 4 or 5 cities because of my actions. That is probably the worst part about all of this. We built Hood Rich from 2 members in May to over 450 by July. We had an amazing experience building our family within the world of Grand RP and we all miss our time spent together. Secondly, having now spent time in 2 different cities in the last few weeks, its helped me appreciate how polished grand is from a developer stand point and ive missed both my family and time in the city.
I can admit that the whole situation got out of hand with the stepping down from Governor, and that by not taking the 3 day ban, i did more damage to my family in the long run than by just taking the 3 day ban to quit the job. Looking back, the 3 day ban would have been the best thing to do. It would have protected my family future in Grand and kept everyone together. I regret that very much.
I believe both Grand RP and Hood Rich benefited from each other in many ways. Hood Rich provided content, donations, RP and a high player count on a daily basis. It was fun to do it then, and it would be fun to do it again.
It seems like a lot of the issues towards the end came down to what looked like a broken relationship with myself and Kenny Vis (not sure if he changed his name). I have nothing against this guy and I can estimate that whatever the issue was, it was probably a misunderstanding like so many things are these days.
I enjoyed being Governor, and stepped down for reasons that id say 99% of people are not aware of, and i can live with that. It wasnt my wish to quit and honestly wish there were ways to work out some of the issues to avoid it happening in the first place. More communication between leadership and admins would go a long way but thats something that can be addressed on both sides of that equation.
I believe my black list or social club ban was done because there was talk of refunding money I donated to the server. I did not refund the 2000 i spent and i dont plan to. I am happy to support the server and would happily do so again in the future.
If my ban is lifted i would not plan to run for any leadership. This is simply a request to help my family get back together and support the work the devs are doing by growing the player count and providing donations
