Backstory:
The yakuza originated during the Tokugawa Shogunate (1603 - 1868) with two separate groups of outcasts. The first of those groups were the tekiya, wandering peddlers who traveled from village to village, selling low-quality goods at festivals and markets. Many tekiya belonged to the burakumin social class, a group of outcasts or "non-humans," which was actually below the four-tiered Japanese feudal social structure. The Japanese government estimated in 2007 that there were more than 102,000 yakuza members working in Japan and abroad, in 2,500 different families. Our family is a mix of Yakuza members from all of these families combined, a group of well trained and power-hungry individuals who thought Japan was too small for their large ambitions and moved to Los Santos to take over every aspect of the economy.
From legal businesses to drug labs, The Yakuza will do everything to become of the top organizations in the city.
The name Yakuza is taken from the Japanese word for “gang”, as the leaders believe in loyalty to the family and respect for higher ranks that Japanese gangs live by. Together with the name, Yakuza adopts the code of conduct that Japanese mafia follow, with a few alterations, which are mainly:

The 3 Leaders of the family have all been a part of the Yakuza since childhood and were bred to be entrepreneurs in both legal and illegal business. They came together to take over their old family after the last head of the family retired. Now they are striving for the top once again and hope to be back in the rankings of top 10 families, a place we once climbed steadily through.

Back Tattoos will be mandatory as a rite of passage, when u get to the rank of brother u will be asked to get a back tattoo, if you cannot pay for it the family will, the more expensive tattoos will be reserved for the higher ranks.
Ranking System - each rank is directly senior to the rank directly below in a chain of command type system (Except 9 and 10):
Rank 1 -Shatei: Learning our ways and activities and are new This is basically our trial period.
Rank 2 - Kyodai: Knows basic things about the family
Rank 3 - Yakuza: Knows the rules good and can explain it to other Shatei and Kyodai, this is the rank for most members, from here on you are really in the Yakuza
Rank 4 - Ninja: Soldiers of the family. Reliable in events.
Rank 5 - Samurai: Fight sub-leads. Good shooters, and good at controlling a couple of lower ranks.
Rank 6 - Shateigashira: Fight leads. Able to lead events under the command of rank 7 and will be the highest rank attainable under the high command.
Rank 7 - Wakagashira: Managers (event, business, etc.) Able to lead, organise, and carry out plans for events/businesses.
Rank 8 - Saiko-Komon: Deputies, Good leaders who assist the bosses in their duties
Rank 9 - Oyabun: Leader/boss of the family and the highest attainable rank, these are the people in charge and their command is absolute
Rank 10 -Patriarch: The current chairman of the organization who owns and manages everything, but has the same rights as the oyabun.

We have been an unofficial organization before and have grown both financially and domestically in numbers, we keep winning bizwars and other events and have rose in the ranking since we lost our status so I feel like we would greatly benefit from getting our unofficial status back as we have so many people now but cant keep up with it due to there not being events available to us.
