1. Leader of National Guard

2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organization? (List three reasons with an explanation)

2A. When I first joined the Grand RP server, I struggled with finding a place where I felt like I fit in. I worked a few part time jobs, and when I was old enough, I decided to try the National Guard. Not only did I find a place where I fit in, it became home for me. Starting at Private I, and working my way up to where I am now (Major General of NG), I have had the chance to work with many different leaders, and have seen the success and the struggles NG has had to face. I have seen what works, and I have seen what doesn’t work. I feel that I have used my time wisely and learned from every experience and opportunity. I feel that all the time I have spent in the ranks of the National Guard has prepared me to be a great leader. I have gained the respect of my fellow soldiers, and the soldiers who have moved on to other Organizations. I feel that becoming General is a natural next step. I have many great qualities to offer as General, and would be honored to share my knowledge, experience and leadership with others.

2B- While serving 5 terms in National Guard, I have learned how to run and operate all departments. I have been given opportunities to ask questions, and understand why certain decisions are made in each department for different situations that have arisen. The smooth operation of the departments within the National Guard are the key to the overall success of the Organization. I have met many capable leaders and have a superior team to fulfill the leadership of each of these departments. That will lay a solid foundation that will guide the National Guard to success throughout my potential term as General. Not only will a chosen strong team of leaders be important, but also making sure that our interactions with other organizations remain professional and courteous is crucial. I will make sure that all other Organizations will not only receive respect, but their ammunition levels will continue to be maintained while they provide support for us during said ammunition runs.

2C- Right now, and in previous terms, the gate duty hours have been from 12:00p-22:00p. I would like this to remain the same, but I would also like to create a Nightwatch. I have seen many soldiers in different time zones struggle to maintain activity because there isn’t as much to do after gate duty. I would like to have this Nightwatch be active for global responses, DOC protection in support of the Government, and to provide any ammunition runs that are needed. That way there is a balance between daytime and night time activities and our units will always have missions to complete.

3. Advice for improving the Role Play level in the organization:
3A- With the last General (Day Doe) he was very successful in implementing more RP within the National Guard. I would like to maintain his changes, and also continue to improve the RP for all soldiers. I will use my OOC experience in the Army to help improve the RP. This will include how we interact with the citizens at the gates, during open recruitments, and also in our interactions and responses with other Organizations and any situations we face. The units will be maintaining base security at the gates, and I will continue to include stationing soldiers at locations near the Airstrip to prevent any aircrafts trying to infiltrate our base. The recruitment process will be improved with a fresh new interview questionnaire. I will also be working to implement a buddy system where all new soldiers will have someone to help guide their first few days of duty with someone who knows the organization so that any questions can be asked, and rules and procedures can be made clear.

3B- I will continue to implement the radio codes already in place to maintain professionalism and clear communication on the radio. I feel our National Guard can only improve with all radio codes being used properly.

3C- I would also like to maintain a professional and communicative relationship with EMS as well as all other Organizations. I have seen EMS showing up to our base raids and it has been amazing to have that service provided. If we maintain our good standing with EMS, it will only help us further in our duties as soldiers.

3D - Departments within NG

Human Resources – Human Resources is the first face of the National Guard the citizens see. It is one of the most crucial departments we have. I will improve this department by making sure all COP and rules are followed in the hiring process. Once we have a balance in units, we will implement the “Buddy System” which will help the new recruits and Privates in their first few days in the National Guard. With this being an important department, it will be led by an HR leader with great communication skills, and a passion for teaching others.

Public relations - Is important because it engages the citizens in events and can also be a way for the citizens to see the National Guard in a different light. I will push for the leader to do many different types of events that will engage the citizens who have varying interests. This will help the National Guard build a rapport with the city and help foster a good relationship with its citizens.

SASD - The SASD has always been referred to as the “most elite force” in the National Guard. With that being said, I would like to implement a more difficult recruitment process to ensure all soldiers are held to a higher standard within this department. The leader will possess all the skills necessary to be a good role model for what the SASD soldier should be. I would also like to implement trainings focused on response time and communication so that we can be more professional while responding to store robberies, hostage situations, and any other event the National Guard will face.

Air Force - The Air Force is imperative for base security. They are our eyes in the skies. By implementing a more efficient scout that targets areas of vulnerability will be crucial to its success. I will also make sure there will be a sub-category that is SASD and Air Force units so that we can better protect our base, and the city against any unruly gang members and family members that threaten other Organizations and citizens. Also, to ensure RP is maintained, it will be imperative for all Air Force Pilots to use proper ATC calls and communication while in the air.

Military Police – I will implement Military Police to not only punish soldiers when rules are broken, but to always make sure rules and procedures are communicated effectively. The Military Police is there first and foremost to teach, not just to punish. With regular trunk inspections, log inspections, background checks, license checks, and bodycam inspections, we will be able to maintain integrity within the Organization, and strengthen our soldiers to perform at a higher level.

I cannot think of a more deserving or more qualified person to be General. I have had the pleasure of working with her for 5 straight terms. In this time I have seen her start from the very bottom and work her way up to the top. She is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, showing great leadership skills, and has the respect of her fellow soldiers. She is NG through and through.
