Kye grew up living on the streets of Los Santos, starting out as a broke criminal, where survival often meant bending and breaking the rules. Kye was raised in a neighborhood overcome by crime, poverty, and sketchy methods done to survive. Because of this, Kye naturally picked up on these things and learned early on how to navigate the harsh realities of street life in Los Santos. Her smart mind, quick learning ability, composure and calmness, and unyielding determination set her apart from other gang members, allowing her to rise through the ranks of gangs before eventually catching the eye of influential and important LEO figures who recognized her potential. Kye's ability to manipulate situations and people to her advantage led her to build success in situations and gain connections that spanned both the legal and criminal worlds. Kye's transition from the streets to law enforcement was as strategic as it was ruthless. Upon joining law enforcement, she quickly leveraged her street-savvy skills and knowledge to give insight into things that most LEO's who were never on the streets did not know to quickly rise through the ranks. This impressed her superiors with her apparent hard work and dedication and investigative prowess. However, eventually, behind the façade of a composed, dedicated trooper, Kye began to exploit her position for personal gain often like she used to do on the streets. She began accepting bribes from people of up to $100,000, and leaking confidential information to criminals. Kye's corruption eventually advanced as she learned more, extended to fabricating false charges, robbing individuals, and tampering or interfering with evidence, all while maintaining her allegiance to family and friends by releasing them from custody and helping them evade justice with her cunning and strategic skills.
