I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to appeal my recent 60-day ban on Grand RP English 2, issued under Rule 4.1 for using an alleged illegal Redux. I would like to provide some context and clarify my perspective regarding the situation.
I recently downloaded a Redux modification called "Network Graphics Ghetto Redux" to improve the performance of the game on my low-spec PC. My sole intention was to make the gameplay smoother and more enjoyable, as my PC struggles to handle the game otherwise. I thoroughly researched this Redux beforehand, and the source I downloaded it from indicated that it was legal and did not provide any unfair advantage.
When Alan Federal teleported to me and conducted a check on my PC, I cooperated fully and showed all the files related to the Redux. At that moment, I was informed that this Redux is considered illegal on the server, something I genuinely did not know. I understand the importance of maintaining fairness and balance within the community and now realize that I should have sought clarification from server administration before installing the modification.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and assure you that my intention was never to break the rules or disrupt the server's integrity. I was unaware of this redux being illegal, you can also check or go through my logs, which will show you that I haven't been banned for any illegal practices before.
If given the opportunity, I will remove any modifications from my game and ensure that I strictly adhere to all server rules moving forward. I kindly ask for your understanding and consideration in reducing or lifting the ban.
