Hello Lebron Pluxury,
Hope this finds you well. I am writing this again because I actually don't have clear idea exactly what happened. The issue is that I was selected for FIB leadership but after checking my personal discord and all of the servers that I am in, I was banned for 60 days with the reason 'Discord Category'.
Now what I got to know is that it was because I promoted or I am just a member of the certain discord server where businesses of GrandRP are promoted so as I already got the reply from previous forum, I am told that I am not allowed to be a part of any 3rd party discord server or certain channels where businesses are promoted. I never saw any rule or announcement stating that family discord servers are considered as '3rd party servers or channels'. In that case, I am sure all the families in this city have their own private discord servers which cannot be checked as wizards cannot be inside them. Mine was checked while I was giving the interview through screen share and now I am punished for owning a business in the past and advertising it in my family discord, which I am sure all other players have also done.
On the other hand, I was also told by Yaswanth Trigger that I was banned because I promoted my business in a 'private discord server' and that server was nothing but my family discord only. Furthermore, I did post my business template in there yes, but at the time of interview, I didn't own any business and it was already sold as I was looking forward to either become FIB leader or if that didn't happen I would've rejoined admin team later on.
On a summary what I am saying is:
- Was the ban for promoting my business or simply for being a member of a 3rd party discord server/channel?
- Are family Discord servers considered “3rd party/private” under GrandRP rules?
- Advertisements were only in family Discord and happened more than 48 hours before the interview, I was not a business owner either at the time of leader interview.
I am not demanding my leadership, I am not demanding any punishment against anyone. I am humbly requesting to kindly investigate this matter further considering my previous records as I am pretty much a very passive player.
Requesting to unban me without money wipe if possible after full investigation.
