Hello dear admin team,
I have recently been leader blacklisted for my term that got handed over in government. I would like to address a few things regarding this. For starters, I do take full accountability for not being as active as I should have, and for not keeping appropriate body camera of all situations. Ryan Slater once told me to always have my body camera running as governor, and I should have listened. That being said, as far as activity goes, I had originally planned on not applying for leadership until September or August, when I finished nursing school. I was working full time, and in school full time in an accelerated program. I did not have the extra time to allocate for leadership in this city, but I had the false notion that I could manage. That is 100% on me. I got talked into applying earlier, and the city seemed in need, so I did.
In reference to the body camera. I recently bought a shitty laptop for school. That is the only way I am able to fly in (I intentionally got the cheapest computer I could find that would run grand.) It has an AMD graphics card, so struggling without Nvidia Geforce is already an issue. I used software I was advised was legal (had all overlays) but it wasn't reliable in any fashion, and I could not screen shot. It gave me a lot of issues as governor. Since then, Donte Shepard has assisted me with my gta settings enough to take good screenshots again, and a redownload of software made my bc more appropriate (although I do have to be careful with space due to my laptop not having much extra.)
In addition to that, I am no longer in school full time. And while I don't have any plans to apply for leadership any time soon, I would like to appeal my leader blacklist. I have had two terms now as leader. The first term was wildly successful, and the only reason it ended early is because Juhnny told me I could take two days to myself to get OOC surgery, and then he went on vacation, and his senior, Harvey Spector didn't agree, so I politely passed my term off to Richard Sole. My second term, FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD, AS I WAS NEVER GIVEN A PERSONAL EXPLANATION, I was told it was "unprofessionalism and lack of perspective". I did fail to have POV, so I accept that fully. I was told the lack of professionalism was two of my IRS employees. I apologize for both their behavior and their lack of POV. That was on my lack of oversight of IA. I take full responsibility. I also had been gone for 8 months, and hadn't fully reemerged myself into the RP as fully as I should have before going for leader again.
But from MY PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE, I have twice now, made it through 3+ weeks of a term, with no warnings, not even a verbal, and been forced to hand it over both times. I have tried my best to keep a good, professional government (the first time for sure, the second time, if I hadn't been so distracted with school I could've tried harder.) I have dedicated so much time, effort, and energy to government over the past 2 years as a law student, lawyer, dcj, head of IRS, cos of IA, etc.. I understand my faults in my actions, and I take full accountability, but I ask that I am forgiven. I have no intentions of trying for leadership any time soon, but I would like to have the opportunity should I feel confident in it at any point.
I was EMS for maybe a week, law student, lawyer, then DCJ, and then given governor. I did not honestly have the experience to know fully what I was doing. Since my last governor term, I have joined LSPD for the first time, SAHP for the first time, and worked my way up through the ranks in multiple ranks in multiple orgs. I've found a love for IA. I am immersed in RP again, I am involved in organizations again. I am trying to gain the experience I should have had in the first place before leadership.
I am not asking for leadership now or soon, I am simply asking my blacklist be removed, so I may try again in the future should I ever feel confident enough to do so.
