Subject: Urgent Clarification on Rule Consistency, Mamkalo’s Case, and Complaint Procedures
Dear Administrators,
I write to clarify my concerns and address potential misunderstandings:
1. No Personal Dispute with Mamkalo — Only a Demand for Transparency
My complaint is not driven by personal animosity toward Mamkalo. Rather, it seeks equal rule enforcement for all players, including influential figures.
Mamkالو, as a prominent content creator and role model for Server #3’s player base, holds significant influence. If he is exempt from rules (e.g., openly violating hostage/ransom RP guidelines), it:
Undermines community trust in the server’s fairness.
Sets a harmful precedent that "popularity equals immunity."
I urge the administration to publicly address Mamkalo’s case. If his actions breached rules, apply penalties transparently. If not, clarify why his scenario was permissible.
2. Contradictory Guidance from Administrators
Admin Abhijeet Burrows provided conflicting instructions:
First statement: "Only LEOs (police) may handle ransom negotiations."
Second statement: "Official families cannot take hostages."
Critical questions:
Are hostage scenarios allowed for unofficial families or civilians?
What roles do LEOs exactly play in such scenarios?
What penalties apply for bypassing LEO involvement?
Request: Publish written guidelines to eliminate ambiguity.
3. Flawed Complaint Process: Accused Administrators Judging Their Own Case
My complaint (Case #1027968) was dismissed by Abhijeet Burrows, the same administrator whose contradictory rulings were central to the complaint. This constitutes a clear conflict of interest.
Demand:
Implement a neutral arbitration system for complaints against staff (e.g., senior admins or an independent committee).
Final Demands for Resolution
Immediate Rule Clarification:
Release a detailed document outlining:
Permitted roles in hostage/ransom RP (families, civilians, LEOs).
Step-by-step procedures (e.g., mandatory LEO involvement, consequences for threats).
Investigate Mamkalo’s Case:
If his video violated rules, apply penalties publicly to demonstrate equality.
If no violation occurred, explain how his actions complied with guidelines.
Reform Complaint Procedures:
Assign neutral arbitrators for staff-related complaints.
Conclusion
Fairness and transparency are pillars of a healthy RP community. By addressing these concerns, you will reinforce player trust and uphold Grand RP’s reputation.
Sincerely,
Farouk Flood
Note: Ignoring these issues risks alienating the player base. I trust you will act responsibly.
