We are submitting this appeal regarding the recent ban placed on multiple members of our group for "Bug Abuse" during the Hacker Attack event.
Summary of the Situation:
> Our team accessed the high ground by climbing the ladder without weapons drawn, ensuring no bug or exploit was used on our part.
> Once on top, we started defending the satellite as per event objectives.
In our POV:
At 04:15, a LEO is seen climbing the same ladder while holding a gun, proving that the ladder was still functional after we used it.
At 10:40, multiple LEOs can be seen climbing the ladder with weapons drawn, which is commonly known to potentially cause ladder glitches.
This indicates that:
We did not damage the ladder.
The ladder was working after we climbed it, and issues only occurred after it was used improperly by Leos.
Our Concern:
Despite using the ladder properly, the following IDs from our group were banned: 87947, 138523, 89306, 81218, 138886, 51896, 94690
We believe this was an error based on incorrect assumptions about who caused the glitch.
Request:
A review of the provided POV and timeline.
Reconsideration of the bans issued to our team.
Any clarification or guidance on the rule interpretation to avoid future incidents.
