Dear Lebron Pluxury,
Figured I’d take a sec to explain the situation around the 60-day ban I got. It was linked to a mod I had that removed the black screen when my character died.
Gonna be real yeah, I knew the Redux was doing that. Wasn’t something I forgot about. But I honestly didn’t think it gave me any real advantage. From my point of view, it was just a visual thing. Didn’t change how I played, didn’t affect my decisions in RP or give me a leg up in gunfights or anything like that.
Actually, I even submitted a report myself (Rejected - Free Kill 23928), and in the clip you can clearly see I didn’t have the black screen. If I’d known it was such a big issue, or if I was trying to hide something, no way I’d have sent that in. In that same report, I said sorry and removed the Redux right after realizing it might be a problem. I didn’t try to argue I just owned it and fixed it.
Later on, I went through a full PC Check with El Rick and Riad Viper, and they confirmed everything was clean no cheats, no shady stuff. Just shows I wasn’t trying to game the system or anything.
I’ve been really into the server and trying to do proper RP. I was also working on a solid non-off org with my RP fam, and now with the ban, not only am I locked out for two months, but I’ve basically lost all that progress too. Kinda rough, especially when nothing I did actually messed with other people’s RP.
I’m not saying I shouldn’t be punished I get that I should’ve been more careful. But 60 days feels pretty heavy considering the context. I wasn’t trying to break the rules, I was upfront about everything, reacted quick, and didn’t gain anything unfair.
So yeah, just hoping you can maybe take another look and consider a reduction. Even a small one would really mean a lot. I’ve learned from this, and I’ll definitely be more careful moving forward.
