You shot without entering the role budy thats the problem. Otherwise i know how to kill from a distance but according to the server rules you have to enter the role

You can hear them talk to eachother in game so doubt they were metagaming.

Also, both of the people were at the scene when you first pulled up and said to stop shooting, therefore, both were in role.
