Local authorities, already bought by gangsters, demanded bribes he could not pay. When his father refused, they destroyed his business and left his family in poverty.
Rubab never forgot that day. To him, the lesson was clear: good men get crushed, while corrupt men rise.
When he moved abroad, he saw the same story repeating—different country, same system. He joined the FIB thinking he could fight corruption from the inside. But reality hit him harder than any street fight. Inside the Bureau, he saw that the “law” was just a mask. Politicians, high-ranking officers, even his own colleagues—everyone had a price.
At first, Rubab tried to stay clean. But every time he played by the rules, someone dirtier got ahead of him. He watched corrupt agents live rich while he struggled. He saw criminals walk free because of bribes, while good men rotted in cells. Slowly, Rubab began to ask himself: Why should I lose when everyone else is playing dirty?
The turning point came when his best friend in the Bureau was killed during an undercover op. Later, Rubab discovered that his death was no accident—it was the result of a deal between corrupt officers and the very criminals they were supposed to catch. That was the day Rubab decided: if the system was rotten, he would beat it at its own game.
From then on, Rubab Vinzoo stopped being just an FIB agent. He became a broker of secrets, a dealer of power, and a man who played both sides of the law. To the world, he was still Agent Vinzoo. But deep inside, he had already crossed the line.
