Hello Lebron, This is Aramis Asteris and I got Banned and Blacklisted from the admin team for being the DJ in a Party hosted by Admin team. Sounds very weird right?
Heres exactly what happened...
So, last night all the active Hindi speaking Admins including me was soo hyped up about our upcoming festival e.g Diwali, so we decided to host a large party on the top of Maze Bank. Better to mention we did host party previously in small scale and had no issued with it whatsoever. But last night we decided it would be better to let others join us as well to enjoy together. I finished all my tasks very quickly inclduing hosting bloods global and was feeling quite dizzy but still I decided not to ruin it for all and arranged everything e.g, spawning cars , lighting, fireworks , flareguns etc.
Now heres what went wrong, We opened the event portal for very small numbers of players also I think one of us decided to post an ad on LI about the party and senior admins would question us about this. Since nobody was replying I was the one to explain them about the party how it was not possible to TP people 1 by 1 and it was indeed like an event from admin team and we all were enjoying it with others in our free time. Then I think it was Light who said we could not do it in maze bank , we had to go somewhere else, like beach market or smtg. I understood his point and asked him to excuse us for this time only as would not repeat it in future but still were told not to and we immediately stopped. We removed everything on that very moment and remove all the people.
I think light was concerned about how players could have abused it by joining event portal to avoid RP but in this case even if we were hosting some other event , they could do the same. Also about unaccessible roof, players would come to Maze Bank all the time to chillax so we did not see any problem in this, also the party was OOC event. I did not argue with any of the seniors or insulted or used any foul language on them that you can confirm from the complete conversation/POV.
Nows, here is our/my point of view:
Lebron, I am always serious with my work and put it first before anything else that Adham/senior curators can blindly confirm . We did everything maintaining everything by making sure everything was covered e.g, who would do tickets, who would keep on eye on players and everything just like in last party I was the one handled tickets. There was complete understanding between us.
Same night Bobby suggested us not to make admin team some kind of ghetto or smtg like that and whats the best way other than to host a party with players, playing their songs of suggestion and vibe together., I believe this is far greater than hosting any event at all. This enjoyment and friendly connection of the players with admin team is priceless. Even though there were only 10-15 people incuding admins, everybody literally danced their asses off.
I did ask myself whether I was doing something wrong or maybe breaking the server or even worse sabotaging the project but could not find any answer but the saddest part is Adham did not even consider our perspective before issuing punishment.
I request you to have a little talk with all the admins/people who were present there and you will get a complete different perspective and this "we " pronoun that I have used so far is completely dedicated to all my nice friends in admin team and my faith in them.
