I am respectfully appealing my 7-day ban for admin disrespect.
I want to make it clear that none of the comments I made were directed at Sergio Saint.
This happened during a discussion in gov emails about whether someone needs to be physically IC in the lawyer room to join the lawyer room VC. My only point during the discussion was that this requirement is not written anywhere in the rules, and I was asking where it is officially stated, either in government legislation or in the Grand RP main Discord. I asked several times because I genuinely could not find it listed.
Sergio said it was “common sense” based on his time in the city and leadership experience. I wasn’t trying to discredit that; my argument was only about rule clarity. When I asked, “agree or disagree, is it listed anywhere,” the situation kept going instead of being stopped, which led to me getting frustrated.
Because of that frustration, I used inappropriate language after I was server deafened (“how f*** awful can you be”). I fully accept that this was wrong and shouldn’t have been said. The comment was not aimed at Sergio or the administration; it was aimed at Haydar Ghafoor, who was removing people from the lawyer room. Before the situation started, it was Haydar Ghafoor who turned this into a situation, because when me and the leader of SAHP were trying to join the lawyer room, we were being kicked from it even though I was there IC. Even so, I understand the language itself was unacceptable.
I had no intention to disrespect the administration or escalate things. I do not go out of my way to cause or start arguments. I should have handled it better — that’s my bad.
I apologize for my language and behavior and assure this won’t happen again.
