9.1.1 Law Enforcement Officer(s) must have a clear and valid reason under the law in order to conduct a Search of any Vehicle.
a) The Law Enforcement Officer must retain valid Evidence of the reason for the Search and the conduct of the Search for a minimum of 48-hours.
b) The Law Enforcement Officer must reasonably have access to the Trunk of a Vehicle in order to conduct a Search by allowing the Driver or Owner to open the Trunk or by breaking the Trunk open (only if the Driver is not present)
f) On the Grounds of a Vehicle Impound. Where a Vehicle is to be impounded, Law Enforcement Officers have the right to search the Vehicle in order to inventory the Vehicle and its contents for Impound.
