Pete looked up to this Police Officer Mzz and wanted to become a Police Officer. When Pete turned 18 he applied to join the SAPS (South African Police Service) and had been accepted to the SAPS. Five months later, He completed his training and had been assigned to a senior officer named Queen Maryam who was corrupt, but at that time Pete didn't know and thought it was just his last day of training till he will be able to go on shifts alone. There was a robbery going on at Capitec Bank Ltd which was assigned to him and Queen to investigate. They shortly arrived and it wasn't a false alarm, there was a Cartel Family named Vybz Kartel robbing it and was holding multiple hostages at gun point and threating to shoot them all. Pete quickly went around to the back to sneak in while Queen and the backup that arrived negotiated with the Family. Pete quickly snuck in and quietly climbed into the vents and took the other members of the family quietly down without the negotiators knowing. Pete took them all down quick and clean showcasing his skills of shooting, and stealth aswell as his quick thinking. Everyone had been detained and were being taken to the Police Station to investigate further and arrest them. Pete and Queen Maryam had detained the Leader of the Cartel Raina SweetVybz when Pete noticed that Queen wasn't going towards the Station, She was going to a deserted place where no one was. Queen had told Pete to stay in the car but Pete was suspicious of it and quietly followed them when he saw Queen let Raina go for a exchange of 100000 Rand, Pete quickly ran away and never talked about that day till when he got his paycheck of 5000 rand which was very little for 5 months of hardwork. This is the moment where Pete talked to Queen Maryam to start doing Corruption with her. Shortly after Pete had left South Africa because of the money he quickly gained and move to Los Santos for a new career.
