2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organization? (List three reasons with an explanation)
2.1. First, I can be considered to have leadership experience since I have been a Deputy Chief of Police and hence had to perform various roles such as managing, operating, and taking necessary decisions in a proper manner. Due to this, I was able to acquire skills on how to lead people and take necessary decisions since I know how to conduct myself in order to make sure that I conduct everything in a fair way. Moreover, I know how to resolve conflicts and deal with other issues in an effective manner.
2.2. By virtue of my previous experiences, I managed to gain skills that will assist me in conducting myself as a Sergeant. For instance, through experience obtained during the time I was a Deputy Chief of Police, I came to learn about departmental management and discipline. I also have skills on how to enforce regulations and ensure that everything happens orderly. This means that I know what a well-managed department looks like.
2.3. As a leader, other than managing the department, I would like to move forward towards making improvements. For example, I would like to come up with more efficient training sessions for the team, elevate the standards of the tasks, and ensure the importance of team spirit is passed across within the department. The aim will be to ensure that all the officers feel confident and competent while being the face of the institution.
3. Your advice for improving the RolePlay level in the organization.
In order to increase the level of RP in the department, the main emphasis has to be put on training and adhering to high standards. All members have to undergo proper training that allows them to see the realistic behavior and ways to communicate during various kinds of interactions. The leadership will be very helpful for this task, as the high level of RP among the upper rank people will definitely lead to a similar level of RP among their subordinates.
Moreover, there has to be some supervision among the patrols and scenarios, so that mistakes could be pointed out and good examples of RP would be promoted. Also, the introduction of new scenarios would give an opportunity to the officers to obtain additional experience.
All in all, strict adherence to rules and maintaining discipline will inevitably increase the RP level.
