In the beginning Eric Arka wanted to be a Good officer he wanted to be obeyed he wanted to be respected by people and wanted to be a trusted name in the department Eric however after spending more time in SAHP came to realize the way things worked He witnessed the flexibility of the rules with officers benefitint He was able to see cases that were forgotten or delayed He saw that influential people were spared the punishment whereas less influential people had to suffer the punishment. Little by little he began to question the system. The biggest modification was when Eric in an operation put his life at risk in order to apprehend evil criminals He thought that his work would make a difference but not long after he found himself released due to outside pressure The instant stuck in his mind He knew that rules werent rules unless the strong thought they wereThen Eric started to see the badge not as a symbol of justice but as a symbol of justice For him it was an instrument He learned the demeanor behind the scenes to keep his public persona cleannn In his working life he is still professional calm and loyal to SAHP but in his free time he takes advantage of his position to earn money exercise influence and gain personal control Eric isnt reckless He knows when and when not to speak and when to stay silent and how to make things work for him He may look to the general public like any other officer doing his duty But those who work with him intimately know that Eric Arka doesn't do things by the book
