Dear Lebron,
I hope you’re doing well. It’s been about a month since I last reached out, and while I want to avoid sounding repetitive, the upcoming Amnesty Week presents the perfect opportunity to revisit a critical issue regarding our leadership criteria.
Right now, the strict rule disqualifying anyone with three or more lifetime bans is unintentionally holding the project back. For veteran players who have dedicated years to this community, accumulating a few infractions over a long timeline is almost inevitable—often stemming from honest mistakes or old history rather than a continuous pattern of bad behavior.
With Amnesty Week on the horizon, we have a massive opportunity to revitalize the player count. To truly maximize this momentum, I suggest adjusting the leadership criteria to focus on recent behavior rather than ancient history.
My Proposal:
Instead of a lifetime ban limit, implement a 2-month probationary window. Requiring a completely clean record (zero bans or in-game punishments) for the trailing 60 days sets a high, immediate standard. It forces anyone wanting a leadership role to be on their absolute best behavior, while still remaining fair to the veterans.
This adjustment would achieve two major goals:
Player retention and return: It gives a massive incentive for seasoned players who left the project to return, knowing their past mistakes won't permanently lock them out of contributing.
Maximizing project potential: It opens up a deeper pool of experienced talent to help lead and grow the community.
To be clear, this isn't about personal greed, nor am I trying to undermine Abraham's decisions. This is an honest, strategic perspective on how we can unlock the full potential of this server and give everyone a fair, earned second chance to help build this project up.
Thank you for your time and for continuously listening to player feedback.
Best regards,
Fadilj Pokmdekelj
