Hello respected Chiefs,
Today I got banned for GR 1.7, which states:
"It is forbidden to transfer property as a gift (including neon shoes), whose total amount exceeds $5,000,000. (You are allowed to receive $5,000,000 and transfer $5,000,000 per day.) (It is allowed to withdraw/deposit money from/to the family balance.)"
I'd like to explain my side.
I purchased house 964 almost more than 10-11 months ago. I don't remember the exact date, but I'm pretty sure it was sometime between April and June 2025. Recently, I was in need of some cash because I wanted to buy something, so I had been trying to sell my house for almost a month or maybe even more. Every time I posted an ad, I kept getting offers of around $20 million, $22 million, and the highest offer I received was $25 million.
After trying for quite a while, I finally found a buyer who initially asked me to sell it for $28 million. I thought I had bought the house for around $33-34 million, so keeping that in mind, I asked for $31 million. He didn't agree, so we negotiated and finally agreed on $30 million.
Unfortunately, according to the rule, the amount difference is exactly $5 million. I'd like to clarify that it wasn't a gift, nor did we had any intention of breaking the rules. I genuinely thought the current market prices had gone down because I had been trying to sell the house for over a month and never received any good offers.
I'd also like to mention that this is my first ban and I've always tried my best to follow the server rules. I sincerely apologize if this transaction ended up violating the rule, as it was never my intention to break it. I kindly request you to consider my situation and give me another chance.
