Life Story: What I remember the most from my childhood were the stories from my grandfather. Stories of the old country. Everyone respected him and he was the idol of my youth. I didn't understand when I was young but I watched, I learned and when I was old enough I was brought into the family business. We offered protection in a time when it was dangerous to operate without such in Liberty City. The police didn't care about the populace, the were more corrupt than the gangs. It was up to the families to protect their neighborhoods, keep them safe for the community. My grandfather taught me a few valuable lessons. The first of which is never trust anyone but your family, and your family is not always about blood. And secondly, sometimes you can only fight fire with fire. We used to be influential land owners in the old country until my grandfather's uncle murdered his father and used corrupt bureaucracy to usurp our rightful titles. My grandfather did what needed to be done, and my great uncle disappeared. Unfortunately the corrupt bureaucracy awarded our lands to my great uncles young son and with our lands in the hands of an innocent child, my grandfather left to America and liberty City to start a new life. Things changed in Liberty City, the neighborhoods changed, they wern’t the same anymore and the old times were gone. With my family’s wealth and my Grandfather's Tophat, I set out to Los Santos.
Career Story: In Los Santos I found myself two new families, one of work and one of friendship and loyalty like I had back in Liberty City. I had a family to support me, help me get settled and teach me all about the city, we helped each other and supported each other in every way possible. And my work family, the USSS. A place where I was taken in, and supported as well, where i met people trying to make real change like Gov Matthew. I finally felt at home again after many years. However, things soured quickly. Los Santos was just as corrupt and bureaucratically locked as Liberty City. Government officials are constantly mocked, disrespected and stuck behind needless procedures and restrictions. Criminals and police run the city as they like, and both of MY FAMILIES are suffering, being mocked and abused. I can take some hits, I have thick skin, but when someone messes with my family, I lose it. Too many times have I seen my family in jail on trumped up charges or had to save the Governor from precarious situations that could have been avoided. Its time to fight fire with fire, as my grandfather would say. It’s time to support the governor and do my job the way I need to while also protecting my other family, Light Inc. from abuse by the over zealous police force. The Baron is here to issue justice.
After two successful terms in USCPO, I am confident I am where I need to be. The chaos of the city runs deep and our new Governor might not be up for the task just yet. He needs strong support at his side and that's where I come in. The bureaucratic red tape is heavier than ever and if our new Government is to succeed I'm going to need to take matters into my own hands. People need to know the Government is not a joke, and my old skills will be required once again. To protect and Serve, the only way I know how.
Outcomes:
1) Baron can take Bribes up to $100k in value
2) Baron can detain, strand-remotely and/or execute anyone within proximity of a VIP that's been deemed a threat. (RP Dialogue Required)
2) Baron can lie to suspects about calling a lawyer and deny their right to one.
3) Baron can attend any family event that doesn't directly fight a LEO organization
4) Baron can remove Family or GOV Members criminal background or from wanted list to protect them.
5) Baron can cuff people and LEO's to search and break their bodycams (/try and /do commands, no more than two try's per situation) and/or kill them if his identification is at risk (with rp reason) (no targeting, no PG).
6) Baron can carry a hidden, GOV Bodycam in his Clothes 24/7. The footage is uploaded to a personal server in real-time using the internet, all footage counts as verified bodycam footage.
7) Baron is allowed to buy/use/sell illegal weapons and drugs, and is allowed to take weapons or drugs off the floor for personal gain.
8) Baron can prevent state employees investigating him to cover loose ends. He can do this via detainment and evidence destruction or fighting them if he is provoked/given demands.
9) Baron can talk smack to the public and colleagues like a gang member (within server rules)
