Dear Curator of Project,
I’m asking, respectfully, for a review of my punishment for GR 1.3 (Scamming) because I feel like it was given due to a mix up, not with any real bad intent.
Also I feel a bit weird saying this but, my name is Khan Smoke (ID: 79449), and in no way did I plan to scam, deceive, or take advantage of other players. I honestly thought I was making a donation stall, where players could freely help if they wanted… not forced or anything.
I ask you to please review my actions with their full context, because the whole thing happened during a wedding event.
Background of the Situation:
A close friend of mine, Simba Maneksaw , was getting married. With my friends Nebuloid Smoke (ID: 150924) and Marwat Smoke (ID: 75817), we were planning how to get to the church.
We decided on a convoy, like a proper protocol style arrival: two SUVs and one Mercedes in the middle, so we all drove together from our family house to the church.
When we arrived, we entered the church and joined the celebration. We were having fun, dancing with other guests, when I suddenly got punished.
The notification I got said:
"Frost_Vukovic [17439] has blocked Khan_Smoke [79449]. Reason: GR 1.3 By Kira_Vukovic."
At that exact time, I was running a stall where I sold Donation Signs, which are legit items you can get from 24/7 stores.
Why I Was Selling Donation Signs:
Donation Sign is an item made for receiving donations from other players. So my thinking was simple, I felt it was ok to set up a donation themed stall with them.
I put several Donation Signs on display with different prices, like:
Donation Sign – $10,000
Donation Sign – $100,000
Donation Sign – $1,000,000
And also other signs with different donation amounts.
My understanding was that if someone wanted to support me, they could pick the amount by buying the matching Donation Sign.
The prices were right there and visible before any purchase. People could decide for themselves if they wanted to buy anything or not.
I wasn’t trying to hide info, I wasn’t falsely advertising, and I wasn’t trying to trick anyone into spending money.
For me it was just a donation stall, where contributions are voluntary, like give what you want.
Why I Think This Was a Misunderstanding:
I know the administration might have interpreted it differently and thought I was trying to scam.
But I never made fake promises, I never misrepresented what the item was, and I never tried to obtain money using deception.
The item I was selling was exactly what people saw. Every listed price was visible to buyers.
My goal wasn’t profit off misleading anyone, it was allowing voluntary donations using an item that is meant for donations. And if I misunderstood server rules about Donation Signs, then I want to sincerely apologize for that part.
My Intention Was:
To take part in my friend’s wedding event.
To enjoy roleplay with my friends.
To create a donation stall, using Donation Signs.
To let players support me voluntarily, if they wished. To be open and not mislead anyone.
Not once did I intend to scam, deceive, or exploit any player.
What I Learned:
After receiving the punishment, I sat and reflected and I understand how my actions could look bad from another angle.
Even if I didn’t want to break rules, I understand that intentions don’t always change how the situation looks to staff or other players.
I’ve learned from it, and I’m now more careful so that any transaction or sale cannot be misunderstood again.
Amnesty Week Request:
I know Amnesty Week is coming soon, and I genuinely hope my situation can be reviewed during that period.
I accept responsibility for my mistake, even if it was unintentional.
Thinking back, I get why people might have concerns, and how it could have been interpreted different than I meant.
I learned from this and I can assure you I will be a lot more careful in the future.
If it’s possible, I kindly ask that my punishment be reduced, or fully lifted during Amnesty Week.
I would truly appreciate another chance to keep playing and enjoying the server with my friends.
Final Request I fully understand that server rules exist to shield players from scams and unfair transactions, and I respect the administration for enforcing those protections.
Still, I respectfully believe my case came from a misunderstanding about Donation Signs, not from an intentional attempt to scam.
The item was displayed openly, prices were visible, and players had the freedom to decide whether they wanted anything.
So I ask you to review my case as a whole, consider my intention, my clean conduct during the wedding, and the fact I’ve learned from this situation.
Respectfully, I request my GR 1.3 punishment be reconsidered, and if possible reduced or removed during Amnesty Week.
