Event Details:
To promote safe firearm handling and precision marksmanship within the state, the LSPD is hosting a controlled shooting skills competition at the Amphitheatre. The arena will be securely cordoned off with police barricades to create a safe firing range. Participants will enter the arena one by one and will be issued a standard flare gun. They will have exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds (90 seconds) to locate and shoot designated targets set up across the arena. LSPD range masters will keep score, awarding points for every successful target hit. This event focuses strictly on precision coordination, sporting discipline, and safe handling with absolutely no player-versus-player combat or lethal weaponry.How the Event Works:
- Phase 1 (The Briefing): Participants gather outside the barricaded Amphitheatre arena to register and receive safety instructions.
- Phase 2 (The Run): One by one, participants enter the range with a flare gun. A timer is set for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
- Phase 3 (The Scoring): The participant fires at the static targets. Every clear hit is recorded as a point by the LSPD judges.
- Phase 4 (The Verdict): Once all participants have completed their run, the individual with the highest total score is declared the master marksman.
Rules of the Event:
- Only issued flare guns are permitted on the range. Lethal weapons will result in immediate disqualification and arrest.
- Participants must only shoot at designated targets. Intentionally aiming or shooting at citizens or LSPD staff will result in a permanent blacklist.
- Participants must exit the firing range immediately once their 1.5-minute timer expires.
- Standard server rules apply at all times.
