Event Details:
To test the agility, quick reflexes, and movement of our citizens, the LSPD is hosting a high-stakes obstacle run at the Diamond Casino parking lot. The LSPD will build a custom run course lined with police barricades. Participants will enter the gauntlet one at a time and try to run back and forth between the barricades as many times as possible within 1 minute. However, LSPD officers armed with Tasers will be stationed along the perimeter aiming to stun them. Every successful lap back and forth earns points, but every time an LSPD officer hits the participant with a Taser, points will be deducted from their score!How the Event Works:
- Phase 1 (The Assembly): Participants gather at the Diamond Casino parking lot to register and receive the course guidelines.
- Phase 2 (The Gauntlet): One by one, participants enter the barricaded lane and prepare for the 2-minute timer.
- Phase 3 (The Dodge): On the start signal, the participant sprints back and forth between the designated barricade markers while LSPD officers attempt to hit them with Tasers.
- Phase 4 (The Scoring): Completed laps add points, while every successful Taser hit subtracts points. The participant who finishes their minute with the highest total score wins.
Rules of the Event:
- Participants must stay strictly inside the barricaded running path; climbing over or leaving the path results in automatic disqualification.
- Only LSPD event staff are permitted to carry and use Tasers.
- No body armor, combat rolling glitches, or speed-enhancing drugs (Juices/Cocaine) are permitted.
- Respect all event staff and fellow competitors at all times.
- Standard server rules apply throughout the venue.
