Leader of the San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP)
2. Why do I want to become the SAHP Leader?
2.1 Experience & Commitment:
I have worked for the San Andreas Highway Patrol a few times and acquired a lot of experience in the process. I have risen thru the ranks to Deputy so I have the knowledge and practical experience that make me an ideal fit for this position. I have learned to handle different situations in the department, to work in a team and to be professional even under pressure. As Deputy, I have been involved in the day to day running of SAHP, which has taught me patience and leadership skills in abundance. I believe I am ready to take that next step as SAHP Leader and to lead the department in the right direction.
2.2 Vision & Planning:
My goal is to make SAHP a thriving, well organised, professional and well respected organization across the city. “Every patrol unit should be on the highways and roads and all officers should be available to respond immediately to any situation in an effort to enforce traffic law and keep the city’s roads safe. “I also want to improve teamwork within SAHP. Good communication and coordination keeps officers united, which in turn builds a stronger department.” I also want to build up SAHP’s image with the public, so that citizens know that SAHP is here not only to issue tickets, but to protect drivers and to keep the roads safe for everyone.
2.3 RP quality and fairness:
If I become Leader I'll drive for professionalism and fairness to ensure that only the deserving get ranks and roles. “I’ve never promoted favouritism in my time as Deputy and that will not change as Leader. I want to give people rank on what they do, how dedicated they are, how well they RP and how they perform. Every SAHP officer should feel appreciated for what they do. Also I want to maintain real roleplay in the department, every officer should be professional to citizens as well as to other departments. I want to create a fun environment for officers to grow as well as better interactions with SAHP for the city.
3. What I Bring to SAHP as a Leader:
If I become SAHP leader I will bring dedication, professionalism, experience and a strong sense of responsibility to the department. I have been a Deputy, and know from experience how important it is to be fair, active and professional in a leadership role.
The main thing I want to bring is better structure and activity to the department. A well organised department gives a stronger image throughout the city. I also want to make sure all officers are motivated in their duties and that the department is active at all times.
I also would like to bring fairness into the department. I want to give every officer a reward for their hard work, dedication and performance. Good leadership is about developing people, recognising their efforts, rewarding them appropriately, leading the department and being close to officers and understanding them. One more thing I want to bring is change and improvement – new ideas and positive changes that strengthen teamwork and create a better interaction with the citizens on the road. I want to see SAHP continue to grow and get better and better.
I want to bring commitment and consistency to SAHP, most importantly. Leadership is not just a title. It is a responsibility to lead by example, make the right decisions for the department and always support officers. “My main goal is to run the SAHP in a way that my officers can be proud of, and the people of the city can respect.
