I was shopping and this guy (who WAS a family member) started trying to RDM me with no RP or anything, video cut out as i ran off on 1 HP

I was at black market giving a friend some money when this guy comes out of nowhere and starts shooting. i shot back in self defence and killed him, then he combat logged.

i was charged with FAIL rp, i accidentally discharged my gun AFTER they guy was killed. i didnt shoot anyone. this is a mistake and now ive lost 2 hours. what can i do about it? this is totally unfair. and i beleive teh wrong call has been made.
