MARABUNTA'S HISTORY
Marabunta was founded in the 1970-80s by immigrants fleeing the civil war in El Salvador. Immigrants from El Salvador who migrated to Los Santos settled in the Spanish areas of Los Santos. Many of the areas along the Fudge Line, where they settled, were filled with Mexican gangs preying on weaker cultural groups. Despite a steady increase in Marabunta, it struggled with Mexican gangs in the 1990s with the recruitment of immigrants fleeing unrest in Guatemala and Nicaragua. The Warriors are known to have fought with Los Astecas and Mexican groups. It is one of the few gangs in the East Side neighborhood of Los Santos. They live in the Fudge Line area of Los Santos.
