I put a capital letter in his name, which is grammatically correct, and didn't put a capital anywhere else. I also don't understand how it is nonsense when I am speaking to my friend about a situation that just occurred.

The purpose of CC is to behave and regular chat, so I don't see how my message is anything but a regular convo with my friend.
