San Andreas Highway Patrol

INTRODUCTION

San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP) is more than just lights and sirens. it's a dedicated team of officers committed to keeping the roads and highways of San Andreas safe for everyone. From sunrise to long after midnight, our patrol units cover miles of open road, responding to emergencies, preventing reckless driving, and assisting stranded citizens when they need it most.

Our Mission

At SAHP, our mission goes beyond writing tickets. We focus on highway safety, investigating crashes, removing impaired drivers from the roads, and keeping illegal activities like drug transport and vehicle theft in check across the state. Our officers are trained to act fast, think smart, and handle high-pressure situations, whether it’s a multi-vehicle pileup or a dangerous pursuit.

But we’re not just enforcers we’re protectors. We work closely with local police, fire departments, and emergency services to respond to natural disasters, high-risk incidents, and public events. Every day, SAHP officers put on the badge knowing their presence can make the difference between chaos and calm on San Andreas highways.

Joining SAHP isn’t just a job it’s a responsibility, a calling, and a promise to the people traveling every corner of this state.

DIVISIONS AND BUREAUS

Highway Patrol Division(HPD)

The Highway Patrol Division (HPD) serves as the front line of the San Andreas Highway Patrol, tasked with safeguarding the state’s highways, interstates, and major roadways. HPD officers are the eyes and ears of the highways — always alert, always moving, and always ready to act.

From high-speed pursuits to broken-down vehicles on the side of the road, HPD handles it all with a balance of professionalism and quick thinking.

Human Resource(HR)

The Human Resources Division (HR) plays a vital role in the future of the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Tasked with hiring and training new recruits, HR is the first point of contact for anyone looking to join SAHP and become part of something greater.

From reviewing applications to guiding trainees through the academy, HR ensures that every new member understands not just the rules and procedures — but also the values and standards expected of an SAHP officer.

Internal Affairs(IA)

The Internal Affairs Division (IA) is the integrity watchdog of the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Their mission is clear: to ensure that all SAHP officers uphold the law, follow department protocols, and maintain the trust of the public and the department itself.

Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT)

The Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Division is the elite response unit of the San Andreas Highway Patrol, trained to handle the most dangerous and high-risk situations that go beyond the scope of regular patrol units.

Undercover (UC)

The Undercover Division (UC) of the San Andreas Highway Patrol operates in the shadows — where the badge is hidden, the uniform is traded for plain clothes, and the mission is built on secrecy, patience, and trust. They help FIB to collect evidences against Gangs.
