I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally appeal the recent 60-day ban issued to my account, and to provide clarification regarding the situation that led to this penalty.
I was recently involved in a transaction to purchase a house from another player on the server. The agreed price for the house was $22 million. However, during the sale, the other player accidentally entered the price as $2.2 million due to a typo. I went ahead and completed the purchase at the listed price, unaware at the time of the typo.
After realising the mistake, I attempted to rectify the issue by sending the remaining funds via bank transfer. Unfortunately, I was unfamiliar with the 5 million dollar transfer system limit which I found out from my friends after I told them what happened and entered 20 million in the bank transfer and notification came up stating i entered the wrong amount multiple times which i hope you guys can search up and see for yourself. I genuinely intended to correct the discrepancy, but I struggled to use the feature properly. At no point was I attempting to exploit the situation for personal gain.
To make matters worse, during the interaction, the other player acted in an unprofessional manner, even going so far as to shoot and kill my character twice in-game while i was trying to rectify the problem. Despite this, I still made an effort to resolve the situation in good faith.
I was surprised and disappointed to learn that I was reported and ultimately banned for 60 days. I feel this punishment is excessive, especially given that there was no malicious intent on my part, and I made honest attempts to make things right.
I respectfully request that the admin team review my case and reconsider the ban. I am more than willing to cooperate further, clarify any remaining details, or return the difference in funds if necessary. My goal has always been to enjoy the GrandRP experience and contribute positively to the community.
