Hello respected team,
Approximately 2 years ago, during the time I was serving as a deputy of Vagos in the Grand RP EN2 server, I unfortunately received a permanent ban (blacklist) from the Discord server due to a misunderstanding. I would like to share all the details of what happened back then with goodwill and transparency.
On the day of the incident, I was AFK in the parking lot behind the Vagos HQ. Suddenly, the admins teleported me to their location. At first, they tried to get my attention and when I didn’t respond, they began hitting me. Shortly after, I returned to my computer, and I was immediately asked to join the Discord server.
When I joined the Discord, I was asked to share my screen. Since I was screen sharing at that moment, my POV recording automatically stopped. At the time, my English skills were not sufficient, and I had a very hard time expressing myself. I told the admins that I couldn’t understand them well and kindly requested a Turkish-speaking admin to assist.
Then, I was asked to show my NVIDIA settings. After showing them, I clearly remember hearing the following: "Using NVIDIA is forbidden, so you will be banned for 30 days, and your Vagos term will be terminated."
This decision surprised and upset me a lot. I have been using NVIDIA ShadowPlay for years just to record my gameplay, and it has never caused any issues on any server before. Out of frustration, I told the admins that I found this decision unfair and that NVIDIA is a widely-used, legitimate recording software.
Many admins were involved in this process, including one Turkish admin. However, unfortunately, he did not assist me at that moment. Later, in a private conversation, he admitted the following: "Tuğrul abi, I made a mistake as an admin at that moment. If I had spoken up again, I would have gotten into trouble, so I didn’t want to intervene—but you were treated unfairly."
After all this, I submitted multiple complaints from different accounts about an admin named Hela Juzzo. Eventually, this person was blacklisted for abusing his powers. However, despite that disciplinary action, the ban I received was never removed, even though I was not at fault.
Fast forward to today—I still enjoy playing Grand RP. Since then, I’ve significantly improved my English, and I now fully understand the server rules and guidelines. I am currently an active player on the EN3 server and have been promoted to Lieutenant General in the National Guard.
However, in order to fully assume my role and responsibilities, I need my Discord ban to be lifted so that the necessary roles can be assigned to me. At the moment, I have a team of 29 active players, all of whom I personally introduced to the game. I’ve helped them learn the rules, the gameplay, and the community culture.
Throughout this entire journey, my dedication and contributions to the Grand RP community have been clear. I kindly ask that you reconsider my ban, taking into account the unfortunate circumstances of the past. Lifting this ban means more than just regaining access—it’s a chance to return to a community I’ve invested in for years, formed friendships in, and supported with sincere effort.
I would be truly grateful for your help. Thank you in advance for your understanding and consideration.
Sincerely,
Tuğrul "Coffinson"
