I was climbing up the crane, he was already on top of the crane, he was trying to give me demand but I didn't hear him due to his voice output and voice coverage area until I got to the top all I heard was "4,3,2,1" when I got to the top and realize he was giving me demands I decided to comply by going down the crane (I was going down ladder before he started shooting) after I got unconscious he send me to the hospital through mercy killing.

• Your character was in the animation of climbing ladder while demands were issued to you. As it is clearly seen that you have reached the top of the ladder when the countdown finished so it was ok for them to shoot you. However, finishing someone isn't Mercy Killing. Please go through definitions once again.
