1. Leader of San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP)
2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organization? (List three reasons with an explanation)
- I have a history of leading successful teams and would like a chance to prove myself again, but this time as a LEO.
- I truly think I can better the training and experience for the city by my proven to work mentoring and leading by example.
- I have a shift in desire for LEO state leading, and SAHP is an org I plan to lead through multiple terms throughout a one-year period. I just need my first chance.
When I started in the city as a journalist, I thought that Lifeinvader was the best organization. Now that I have multiple years of experience in the city, I’ve come to notice I felt that it was because it was the first to take me in and they took care of me. The CEO, Rui Ace, bought me my first suit, Dray Ottoman was my first interview, and that means something to a new citizen. I would go on to be a leader in Lifeinvader with a focus on Journalism, completing 7 straight months as DD of Journalism. Where I would then become Deputy of Minxy Malono for her Lifeinvader CEO term, finishing up a streak, where I would then start my interest in LEO orgs. I joined LSPD for Barney Hayes Chief term and learned closely from the Hayes, Hills, Ottomans, and Blakes families. Who are the well-known legends of the LEO State HC and Leadership history books. During that time Government was an organization that struggled to hold on to a leader who could complete their 30-day term. Out of 8 months, 4 of the government terms had ended and were disbanded. I would then become Governor and would lead the GOV team to a 60-day straight successful term. Now look at the terms to follow, GOV as an org has now a consistent, stable leadership, and applications for the leadership are up. I would Than go be Lifeinvader CEO, where I was able to work on focusing on working on my organizational management skills. Learning more about creating events, but not just the everyday kind of events, I learned how to properly fill out requests for curator-approved events. I have worked with Multiple senior administrators and teams of curators. Now, as Sheriff, I would like to bring my skill level, creativity, connections, and proven history of success to SAHP. I have been known as more than just a state leader; I've been known for mentoring state leaders and deputies. I mentored Ava Marailli through her first successful GOV term, and it is now a multi-organizational high command. I found Nyx Kleps and offered her their first deputy spot, and she would go on to break the record for most deputy terms and finish a 60-day LI term, which I was also her deputy for. I have earned a reputation for not just completing terms but making the org improve for its leaders and members even after I leave. One example is the Journalist's internal policy is mine from over a year ago. Gun licenses average price used to be $20.000, but since my term its stayed around $10.000. Carlos Bloomfield, Nyx Kleps, Bunty Pal, Ava Marelli, Miguel Blake, and Thomas Slock were all members of my term. I have been their leader, and their careers speak for themselves; however, I noticed the leader in them and gave them my time. I will find future Sheriffs and can set up SAHP the same way I did for Lifeinvader and the Government already. With that being said, below are my PLANS for SAHP. Not me saying I would like to do this, or a list of loose ideas of department change without true thought. I have fully written out policies ready for your approval on day one. Actual change starts from the moment I begin. The Nate Blakely promise.
3. Your advice for improving the Role-Play level in the organization.
Checkpoints and Units:
Below will be a link to a document where you can see I've taken IC photos, explaining each location for easy learning for new troopers. For those interested, I'll list the points below as well. ( sahp )
Checkpoint: ALPHA. Raton Canyon, across from hookies, in the open dirt area.
Check point: BRAVO. Gas station No.20
Checkpoint: CHARLIE. Exit 4A. Grapeseed.
Checkpoint: DELTA. DOC exit ramp. Either side has a shoulder.
What this does is create a system that I, with High Command, can be aware of our whole team's location and duties. We can now also maneuver our troopers more efficiently. Example, “ Alpha create a radar checkpoint, Bravo perform cannabis search, Charlie be prepared for training, Delta on call for Local and Globals.”. Each task for checkpoints will be changed every three hours. Which means we can attend the Hemp farm regularly on top of hitting our normal events. This also allows for patrol cars on the street to coordinate with other units for more exciting highway patrol RP. All while I can send HR to train a checkpoint on whatever we need to. All units, when entering the org, will be assigned their unit. I truly believe this will allow for multiple High command members without overstepping each other. While also allowing for a more entertaining and intimate experience for troopers.
Merit system
Officers must have a certain number of merits for a promotion. Each rank takes a little more than the one before. Merts are earned for arrests, tows, and fines. Merts can also be given out by the Sheriff and the Under Sheriff for officers who do outstanding work. Each week, the DD of all departments will give one member of their department an officer of the week. The senior staff will pick an HC member as “Leader of the week”.
Spec op: 5 merits
Valid evidence: 5 merits
Hostage situation: 3 merits
Cannabis destruction: 2 per plant. (Maximum of 5 merits if at the hemp farm)
Store robbery: 3 merits
Arrest: 3 merits
Insurances: 2 Merits
Tows: 2 Merts
Fines: 1 Mert
Special reason for merits: 1-5
Outstanding professionalism at a spec ops or hostage situation.
Dedication to leading by example.
Showing kindness and pride in serving the citizens
Officers must turn in the amount of merits required for rank promotion. The Merits will be tracked by an Excel sheet run by the DD, HOD, DHOD, and senior staff. Curators will also be given access to monitor for anyone who would try to sabotage the merit system, and be able to punish those who would try. Troopers will be aware of how many merits they have because it will be posted in their logs.
To make sure there is fairness and no one can abuse the merit system by favoritism or fraud. IA will be monitoring the Logs and asking for a review of merits given if an officer's logs seem to be receiving an unfair amount of merits. IA can also request that merits be removed if, after an investigation, a trooper is found to break policy, act unprofessionally, or abuse of power.
Hostage situations.
1. In every hostage situation, there will be two roles given out. First, the rabbit is in charge of while TRACE is organizing a convoy to go to the bank and pull out the money needed for a potential hostage. Once the Rabbit is back, they will be the last car in the convoy. Secondly, the Lead of the operation who will be first car and lead the convoy and team at the Hostage situation.
2. From my time in the LEO organization, LSPD focused ( 4 terms ) and one temp leader as Chief of LSPD, I’ve noticed where SAHP can improve. It's not a lack of professionalism at events; it's a massive training gap that could change everything if worked on. SAHP is in the chain of command when it comes to hostage situations and store robberies is last. So, instead of trying to be a part of the conversation with the gangster, the SAHP will create a perimeter. Learning how to create save locations for Leos to fight from if shooting begins. SAHP will, from the safety of the perimeter, use our K9 units in tactical 10-15 take-down protocols, while assisting the other LEO orgs in highly dangerous situations.
PR events.
Gunning for money
A gun turn-over exchange program. Citizens will come, and for cash, we will confiscate illegal weapons, no questions asked. You don't need to tell us how you got the gun; just turn it in and get it off the street. I think we can actually have a small impact on the illegal guns that affect of wonderful city
Training events
Pit maneuvers
SAHP covers so much road and therefore needs to have proper training of its jurisdiction. I believe the main issue with stopping crime during a highway car chase is two-part. Part one, the speeds of 300-500 mph that troopers face from criminals are speeds they haven't received proper training on how to handle in a tactical mindset. Part two, the panic that comes from troopers who don't know the difference between pit maneuvers and car ramming.
I can solve part one by allowing the troopers of my term to have actual time with other troopers practicing these roads. Learning where most people can't take a corner, or how to slow their brain, so they can calm down and focus during car chases.
Part two, this is training that needs to come from veteran players willing to train new citizens on how to follow the rules. I have already talked about my history of training and mentoring, my deputies are Ava and Koleen, both known as well for being active and enjoying RP. They create moments of training, and with me leading the org and utilizing my deputies to inspire other high command, I think we will have more than enough willing to provide this type of training. Now when troopers are in high-stress situations, they can follow the rules, create fewer forum-needed situations, and promote proper RP. While also knowing when it is proper to use forums if server rules are strictly broken. Citizen safety is extremely important; therefore, during these training periods, I will make a statewave notifying potential drivers on the road in training locations. Example below:
I will make a state wave as follows
“Los Santos, this is your Sheriff speaking with a special traffic announcement.”
“SAHP Driving training. From Gas station no.16 to Gas station No.22”
“This special training program will be from (one hour period).”
“You may still travel. Beware of potential high speeds at this location.”
“SAHP covers 10 miles of Highway. This training will better prepare us for potential situations.”
“Thank you and have a wonderful and safe day.”
Daily 3k quiz
I'd like to have the senior staff to also have a fun and interactive way to train in SAHP. We will come up with a question of the day, on Sunday we will discuss what 7 questions will be asked that week. When a trooper of any rank can answer the question correctly, they will receive $3.000. Example of question: “ How many units do you need to enter the ghetto. What signs do you need to allow lethal force? What is the difference between Aggressive force and Reciprocal force?”
