I am Aram, and I grew up in Kurdistan's tough mountains. My childhood was not always easy, but it taught me the ability to survive. I was a young guy wth asprations to improve the system—make things better. That is why I joined SHAP, a powerful organization that offered progress and security. I was young and idealistic, and I thought initially. I worked hard, rose through the ranks, and gained the confidence of leaders.
But in time, I realzed how the system worked in real life—money talked louder than jujce, and power was bought, not earned. That's when the idea came to me: if everyone else was cheating, why shouldn't I? In time, I started bending the rules first to survive, then to succeed. It started with small trades, then large contracts, secret money, shady partners.
Career Story:
i started tarted my life ful of purpose. Living among the rough mountains of Kurdistan as a kid, I ventured out to work for SHAP, an organization that promised change, stability, and potential. I was dedicated to the mission. I worked day and night, climbed the ranks, and earned the respect of my peers. I stayed clean for years proud to have done it by myself. But then the economy turned. My salary stayed the same, but the price of living doubled. My mother fell ill, and the hospital charges added up. I requested help, but bureaucracy moved too slowly. My savings vanished. My younger brother was no longer at school, and I couldn't even purchase his textbooks. It was then that the first employment offer cme. One of the neighborhod contractors that I was familiar with approached me with a proposition to rush a permit. It was against the law, but it wasn't violent. Just a signature, he explained and a friendly thank you for my trouble. I said no at first. My landlord subsequently raised the rent. My mother's treatment was delayed again. I rationalized that it was a one-time thing. I took the offer. One decision opened a door I never meant to walk through. Once through, the offers just kept coming one more easy to accept than the last, until: desperation bred habit. I justified it as a means of survival, then for my family, then. justifications stopped altogether. Now I reflect back and consider where the line was, but then it just seemed as if I had no option. And maybe, in some way, I didn't.
