Account ID: 1440
Ingame Name: Taylor Alvarez

Administrator who issued the punishment: Michael Morell

Type of punishment: Permanent Ban

Reason given for the punishment: Violation of §1.1 and §1.4

Date of punishment: August 31, 2025

Why do you consider the punishment unfair?
I firmly believe this punishment is the result of a misunderstanding. From the very beginning of DE#02, my brother (ID 2223, Liam Alvarez) and I have been playing actively and for a long time on this project. We both use our own Social Club accounts but share the same household network, which may have led to suspicion.

A close friend of ours, Florian Brand (ID 1440) from Berlin, has also played with us in the past and occasionally connected through our network when visiting. I am not certain whether his ban is connected to this network-sharing situation. However, what I can confirm is that it is mainly my brother and I who have been affected by the ban, most likely because we live together and consistently share the same network.

In the early days of DE#02, it was explicitly allowed to create a twink account as long as it did not interact with the main account. I did create one back then, but I never used it afterwards. For a long time now, I have played only on my main account and character, Taylor Alvarez.

I have also fulfilled my responsibilities as an administrator for DE#02 long ago and continued to support this project faithfully as a player, including financial contributions. Over the years, I have communicated with Mazhor several times on Discord and have always remained polite and respectful. For this reason, I am convinced that the current ban must be an unfortunate misunderstanding.

I kindly ask you to carefully re-check this case, as something must have gone wrong here. I am also open to a direct conversation on Discord to clarify everything personally and to confirm that my brother and I are two independent players using separate accounts, even though we share the same household network.

Request:
I respectfully request a reconsideration of the permanent ban issued by Administrator Michael Morell and hope for the chance to continue contributing positively to the DE#02 community.

With respect,
Taylor Alvarez

I really don’t know if this is caused by a system issue or if the logs are showing something incorrectly, but in all the 4 years that I have been playing on GrandRP DE#02, I have never seen so many bans given out for the following rules at the same time:

  • §1.1 – The created account is the property of its creator. The account may not be shared or sold. | Permanent ban
  • §1.4 – It is forbidden to have more than one additional account (Twinking). | Permanent ban for all additional accounts | Main account ban 60 days
Personally, I have never broken any rules, and I am fully aware of the regulations since the very beginning. That’s why this whole situation feels even more confusing and disappointing to me.

The only explanation I can imagine is that my brother and I were judged wrongly by the system because we share the same network. But the truth is, we are two completely independent players – each with our own Social Club account, Steam account, and our own separate PCs. The only thing we share is the same household connection, since we live together.

Over the years, I have invested a lot into GrandRP and I really love this project, so it’s very frustrating not to understand how this ban happened. I don’t even blame the administrator who issued it, since he is probably just working with what the system shows. But I am convinced that something went wrong here, and I kindly ask for the situation to be re-checked.

Follow-up Statement with Proof

I was able to get proof from another player (see attached screenshot), which clearly shows the bans that were handed out by Administrator Michael Morelli [30371]:

  • Liam Alvarez [2223] – banned as "Main" under §1.4
  • Taylor Johnson [50571] – banned under §1.1/1.4
  • Taylor Alvarez [1440] – banned under §1.1/1.4

Here is the mistake:

  • Taylor Johnson (50571) is an old smurf I created a long time ago. I have not been online with this account for a very long time, and I never did anything with it since its creation – as you can also see by the very old ID number (50571).
  • My main account has always been Taylor Alvarez (1440), and I have only played on this account.
  • My brother Liam Alvarez (2223) has his own independent account and Social Club Account and has nothing to do with my smurf and my Main Account.
  • By treating Liam as the “main,” the system (and the admin decision) connected things incorrectly, which caused him to be banned even though he did nothing wrong.
So what happened is that Michael Morelli banned my brother, who has no connection to my accounts, while also banning my old smurf account, which never interacted with my main. This is a clear mistake and can be proven with the log evidence shown in the screenshot.

I kindly ask that this situation is re-checked properly so that my brother’s account and my main account can be restored, since this was caused by a misunderstanding in the ban process.

So my brother—who has nothing to do with my accounts—was banned, and my old smurf (which never interacted with my main) was banned as well. This is a clear mistake that the screenshot log helps demonstrate.

Additional context: I’ve also been told by players that there was a broader “ban wave” around that time, and a friend of mine was banned despite doing nothing wrong Florian Brand [1441] he is also playing on his own Social Account I don't know why he got banned too. I’m not assigning blame; I understand admins work with what the system shows. But given these reports, please re-check the decisions and audit the system/logs for that timeframe, especially around identity linking (household IP overlap, smurf detection). I genuinely believe several errors may have happened.
