The reason I didn’t show my ID immediately was because there were two individuals inside the car, and I knew that if I had stepped out or made them exit, their gang members likely would have performed a mercy kill. My colleague got Code A, so I told them that once he arrived, I would show my ID. I have bodycam footage of the entire situation, including the moment I informed them about waiting for my colleague and when their gang members broke my armor. I’m willing to provide the POV to any admin if needed.
