I want to clarify something here and explain it to you. Meta-gaming doesn’t simply mean being in the same voice chat or talking with friends. According to RP rules, meta-gaming happens when a player uses information that their in-game character cannot possibly know in order to affect the RP situation. In our case, we did not share or use any external information that our characters wouldn’t know. We are not even talking in the video. If we had given each other info from outside the game and used it in RP, that would have been meta-gaming. But this is not what happened in this situation.
