Hey Bobby Pluxury,
I have recently noticed that players are getting banned for “bug abuse for switching guns faster that avoid ammo counts” I want to clarify that it is nothing to do with players as they don't intentionally abusing any bug, but instead experiencing a server-side issue that became noticeable after the recent update, also this just come into highlights just last 2-3 days after update.
( This forum is not from any friend or other its from my side as its the problem i also faced and due to lack of clarification i wanted to clarify it ).
forums : On consideration - Pov req | 143452,0000
Before the update, whenever we switched from revolver to AR instantly after firing, the bullet count deducted correctly (even if the animation/desync looked odd). After the update, however, the fired bullet does not get counted properly in certain situations, making it look like “infinite ammo,” but in reality it’s a sync/server delay issue rather than player manipulation.
here is my own pov of before update :
( ignore the sound as we dont have full raw pov as its more then 1 week )
and after Update pov of my friend : Watch Nice gaming chair | Streamable ( who got banned for it )
You can also check all previous POV request forums before this update — everything was perfectly fine although sometimes it still happened back in time due to ping issue but was never considered as bug abuse . The issue is now happening for everyone since the update, not just me but with everyone.
If this situation is going to be considered bug abuse, then I respectfully request the team to clarify it for all players with an announcement, because we have no way of knowing when new rules are added. Alternatively, a small update can solve the confusion: for example, adding a gun-usage animation (similar to RU servers), which would automatically prevent this desync since fast weapon switching is a feature of Rage MP, and until now has never been treated as bug abuse.
I kindly ask you to re-check this issue as i am not banned till now but i noticed this as when i play informal now its happens many times although its random as i noticed it occurs every 3-4 times out of 10.
I hope you can understand my perspective and give this another review.
Thank you for your time and support.
Best regards,
Terre Wayne
