YAKUZA – The Inheritance of Respect
After the death of our parents in their small towns in Mexico, things got very hard. Me and and my Brother-from-another-Mother, Sergio, had nowhere to go - no place to live, no money, no future. So we took all that we had left and moved to Los Santos, in the hopes of starting over and developing a new life. Unfortunately, the city did not receive us well. We got laughed at for our accents, laughed at for our clothes, and laughed at for being nobodies. With every job we attempted, every deal we made, we were treated the same way and had the same results - we did not belong. Nobody would respect you no matter how loyal or respectable you were.
One night after getting into a physical fight protecting each other from a gang in the backstreets of Vespucci, we met an old Japanese monk who had somehow found his way to Los Santos. He lived a quiet life behind a little dojo. Upon meeting us, he didn’t judge us like so many of the others. He saw something unique in us and began to teach us the words of discipline, the art of patience, and the true understanding of strength. He told us, “Respect is not gained from fear, respect is earned from loyalty and control.” When he told us those words, everything changed. We stopped chasing the quick dollar and began building something real. We said that if no one was going to give us respect, we’d take it. That night, Yacuza was born. The name came from the monk’s roots — “Yakuza”, a symbol of brotherhood and discipline — but we changed it to YAKUZA CARTEL, to mark our own identity. A mix of Mexican blood and Japanese honor.
We protect our own, we earn our respect, and we never forget our roots. Now, when people hear YAKUZA CARTEL, they don’t just see a name — they see a movement, created from loyalty, honor, and respect. We started from nothing… but now Los Santos remembers us
