I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally appeal the 60-day ban imposed on my account on September 13th, which was issued under the accusation of cheating. I fully understand the importance of maintaining a fair and enjoyable environment for all players, and I take any allegations seriously. However, I firmly believe that this ban was based on a misunderstanding, and I would like to clarify the situation.
At the time of the ban, I was using a specific version of Redux that, unfortunately, contained unintended flaws. These flaws were a result of the Redux creator's early development work, which I was unaware of when I started using the tool. After discussing the issue with the creator, it became clear that this version of Redux was built with some critical mistakes, which led to certain behaviors that could have been misinterpreted as cheating. However, I would like to emphasize that these flaws did not grant me any unfair advantage in the game, nor was there any malicious intent on my part.
It’s also important to note that, throughout my time in the community, I have never been involved in any cheating activity prior to this incident. While I have received some minor bans related to GR 3.1 and GR 3.2, these were isolated incidents that did not involve any form of cheating or malicious behavior. I have always complied with the rules and have made genuine efforts to play the game fairly. This is why I feel this current ban, which is a much more serious accusation regarding cheating, is not only unwarranted but also unfair. It has deeply affected my experience, and I’m sincerely disappointed by the decision.
If I had been aware that the Redux I was using was problematic, I would have immediately stopped using it, as I take pride in playing fairly and maintaining the integrity of the game. Additionally, I applied for leadership and agreed to a PC check to show my transparency and commitment to abiding by the rules. If I had intentionally used cheats, I would never have taken such steps to demonstrate my honesty and adherence to the community standards.
I kindly ask for a thorough review of my case, as I believe that this ban was based on a misunderstanding rather than any intentional wrongdoing. I have always strived to be a positive and respectful member of the community, and I am confident that this situation can be clarified with the right information.
I understand the need for a fair and balanced gaming environment, and I fully support your efforts in upholding those standards. However, I believe that this ban is not reflective of my true intentions or actions, and it is significantly affecting my enjoyment of the game.
