Hello dear,
I am writing to you because I got banned and I want to complain about several points concerning the admins on the French server, more specifically: El Pepe and El Rick.
I went to the family war on the FR#1 server on the 9th of November. I was recording with OBS at the time. I was in the first yellow zone where we have to wait before it starts, so every player has time to join.
We won the family war and I sent all the POVs to Antonio Master.
One hour after the family war, I was chilling on the server and I got banned for “Investigation – 60 days” without any admin coming to talk to me or explaining anything.
So I made an unban request on the forum:
Reviewed - Investigation | El Rick
I waited, and then contacted El Rick, as El Pepe asked me to do on the forum.
El Rick talked to me on Discord and said in French:
“Yeah, it’s because we see your mouse moving on the video you sent us.”
I told him it was because I pressed Win+G to start my recording.
And it wasn’t even the moment where we were able to shoot in the family war, it was just the preparation zone. I also tried recording afterward with Nvidia, and we can’t see the Win+G overlay anyway. After that, he told me he would talk about it with El Pepe.
Then I waited 48 hours, and suddenly I got banned for:
“1.7 All participants in events (all events with a yellow or red circle) must record their POV and keep it for 48 hours | 30 days ban”,
by El Rick.
So I tried to get unbanned because I thought it was unfair, and he said my POV wasn't complete.
After that, I tried to DM El Pepe, and he told me:
“Your POV shows a black screen for a moment. You didn’t configure OBS to record only the game. It’s up to you to make sure your software records your full screen.”
First of all, at the start of my recording you can clearly see all my apps — Discord, OBS, etc.
Second, the black screen will always appear because I alt-tabbed while playing in stretched resolution. So I also saw the black screen myself.
I explained that to El Pepe, and he replied:
“No, you only recorded your gameplay. Otherwise, we would see you alt-tabbing, and we can’t know what you’re doing behind the black screen.”
I answered:
As I said, there was nothing hidden. I was recording the screen. I tried before and it showed everything. And, as I said, when you play a game full screen with stretched resolution (for me 5:4) on a 16:9 monitor, when you alt-tab a black screen appears before switching windows. I did it twice quickly, so nothing appeared for me or in the recording.
I also sent an example I recorded with my phone:

His answer was:
“We can see that you have several scenes, and that with a keyboard shortcut you can quickly switch from one scene to another. Since we cannot take your word for it, the ban stays.”
And that’s the point I want to talk about:
– First, I got banned for “investigation” without any explanation or admin talking to me.
– Second, banning someone who spent a lot of time farming and playing, who will miss events like GC or the free car event, based only on a doubt, is that normal?
I don’t know if you find this normal, but I wanted to have your point of view on this situation too.
I’m not asking for an unban.
I just want to know if this is normal, and if one day I can be unbanned to play again — but that’s not the main subject.
