I switched today to using a Rockstar Launcher license instead of Steam, primarily because RAGE:MP is more flexible for players who occasionally need to run multiple instances of the game for legitimate, non-malicious reasons. In the process of making that change, I created a new Grand RP account without fully considering how this might interfere with the multiple-account rule.
I do have an older alt (“twink”) account, but it hasn’t been used in a long time—well over a month, if not longer—and it has never been used to participate in any events or situations that would create an advantage. It has only ever been in a single organization, never been part of a competitive family, and is no longer part of any of these. My overall activity on my main character has also been very low recently, which should be evident in the logs. I even lost an $8M house on my main account due to not being able to maintain the required weekly playtime because of recent real-life circumstances. The alt account has no meaningful progression, funds, organization ties, or family involvement; it was created almost exclusively so I could be in EMS at the same time as being in Lifeinvader so that I could help contribute by producing EMS training videos. In hindsight, I should not have created the new account, and not considering this rule at the time was my mistake.
I’ve always made an effort to conduct myself respectfully on the server, give back to the community, and follow the rules. There was no intent to gain anything from violating them. I understand and accept any punishment you feel is appropriate, but I’m hoping this situation can be reconsidered or reversed given the circumstances and lack of intent. I’d genuinely like to hop back on and continue being part of the community over the holidays.
I apologize for my lack of forethought. Thank you for your consideration.
