During the event, I fired one shot at a gang member by mistake. I thought they were inside the red zone because one of them was shooting at us from outside, and I didn’t notice the zone border at that moment. As soon as I realized they were outside the zone, I stopped immediately.
I fully admit it was my mistake, but according to rule 1.11, shooting outside the red zone should result in a maximum of 120 minutes of jail time. Despite that, I was jailed for 180 minutes.
The bodycam footage is attached and clearly shows that only one shot was fired and that I stopped right away once I noticed the mistake.
